Piano Curriculum

For my main curriculum, I use Alfred’s Premier Piano books which students are required to purchase. There is a Lesson Book, a Theory Book, and a Performance Book for every level. They also offer a variety such as Jazz and Popular.

Lending Library

I also offer a large library of music that students can borrow from. I use another series from Faber Publishing to give students variety in classical, jazz, popular, Christmas, hymns, and favorites. These books can be borrowed as well.

Chocolate Challenge

Students can enter the “Chocolate Challenge” to play through all eight in the book series and earn a giant chocolate bar.

Community Piano Recitals

I offer a Christmas Recital every year and various other recitals such as the Disney Recital, the Halloween Recital, and the Patriotic Recital. 

Classical Music Class

All students are eligible to take my academic class on Google Classroom called “Introduction to Classical Music”. This is a delightful six-week easy introduction to classical composers using a framework of read, listen, and create. It requires very minimal time and is something the entire family can enjoy.
